Multitude Monday #3748 - #3790...

"That voice that alternately laughs like a manic jackal at the long list of everything you get wrong or whispers into your soul that you’re no good at this. No good, again.
The voice that thinks bad days make bad mothers...

Let me remind you, friend, that voice is a liar and a cheat. It will rob you of the rest of the day, it will hack away at the good parts, it will spit on the beautiful moments that happened right there in the minivan in between meltdowns. Those magical, parenthetical moments when everyone is laughing and the world is full of the glory of new beginnings..."
Lisa-Jo Baker

So today along with the Gratitude Community... I share some of the moments that kept me pushing forward from this past week...

Multitude Monday #3733 - #3747...

"...Moments of beauty shock us and, for a few fleeting moments, set our hearts free."
Eyes Wide Open by Steve DeWitt

So today along with the Gratitude Community... I share some of the moments of beauty that "shocked me" from this past week...

...being challenged by this scripture...
"If you live wide-eyed in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. Keep your eyes open, your lamp burning, so you don’t get musty and murky. Keep your life as well-lighted as your best-lighted room.”  Luke 11:34

Multitude Monday #3701 - #3732...

"Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
Hebrews 13:15

So today I openly profess his name by giving thanks with the Gratitude Community for His unending gifts...

Riding Lessons...

It's one of the things we promised Joshua when we decided we would home school this year.  He has always had a heart for animals and needed something that was "just his" and as you can tell from the picture below he LOVES it!

What I didn't realize was how God would use the time while Josh was riding...it has been a huge blessing for all of us to enjoy a new location at sunset each Tuesday...

...a big field with the airport and a light rail track at the bottom...

...a huge farm with lots of horses and "Bella" the dog that comes when they call...

...so thankful to catch a glimpse of this beautiful sunset each week...
