This
winter we have had a lot of snow. I love the way the snow covers
everything in a pure white blanket. However, months of snow on the
ground has made my eyes somewhat heightened to "notice" color when it's
present.
Tonight,
I went outside at sunset to take a picture of the skyline. The "color"
in the sky seemed to contrast the "lack of color" in the snow covering
the ground.
Then about a half an hour later I noticed a "warm" hue to the light in the house. When I see this in the late evening on the west side of the house I know what it means. I grabbed the camera again to take another shot. What an incredible difference a half an hour made in the color of this landscape.
