One thing that Wes and I reflect on a lot regarding Eli is that he LOVES being a part of this family...it shows in so many ways. We love you buddy!

First Fruits Farm...

"is a nonprofit ministry dedicated to growing fresh vegetables to help feed the hungry in our community." So today we were "Harvest Helpers" on the farm. Our job...

picking potatoes and bagging them to be sent out to the homeless shelters...

Eli really enjoyed his job...especially when he found a "baby ato!"

Joshua's favorite part of the day...poor Josh once we got into the car he told me "Nonny, you should have left me at home, it was too hot to pick potatoes!"

Our New Pet...

a monarch caterpillar we found on our bike ride yesterday, we've been busy cleaning his container and providing him with fresh milkweed leaves...we'll see if we can make it to the butterfly stage!

7:15 AM...

Joshua walks down the steps and informs me that he has football practice this morning.

and I try to explain to him that football players need breakfast before practice so they have energy...so he ate breakfast with Micaiah while they talked about who was going to win the game, the Ravens or the Steelers...Micaiah told him if you want to win you should be the Steelers (even though he is a Raven's fan he clearly remembers last season)

this evening while Micaiah had soccer practice Joshua took Daddy on in a game and I'm not sure who won but...

Joshua clearly had fun!

it was a little sad...Wes really wanted to ride the camel with Joshua but Uncle Josh couldn't contain himself he wanted to ride the camel so badly...he kept singing "rollin, rollin, rollin keep this camel rollin!"

We had a great time Uncle Josh...as Joshua said "you can come back!"

"D" is for Detour...

to the number two kids park in the world Idewild! It was mom's idea and the boys had fun! Eli thought he was so special because he could ride most of the rides by himself...there is nothing better than that for a two year old!

the Doodlebug was Eli's first ride by himself...and then he didn't want to quit!

the boys enjoyed trying to soak the "Popster!"
