There's no time...
cousins in jammies...sitting just for a minute...
so quick put the camera on continuous shoot and start shooting...
you may get a picture where they are all looking but probably not so here are two!

Snapshots of Hiking in Acadia National Park...
No, I didn't make it to the top of the mountain ...
Right here is when "fear" set in for me...I sat and watched Wes climb the rungs in the picture below...
Safer hiking around Thunder Hole...

Reflections...
While completing his morning devotional, Micaiah answered one of the questions by writing "Jesus" and then looked up and said...
"Sometimes just writing that makes me feel better!"

We Miss You Kels...
5 years ago tomorrow my family stood in shock trying to process the death of this sweet soul...
Kelsey...I am so thankful for the time we had together.
I truly believe that the closeness of Joshua's birth and your death were no accident. He is so much like you! I am reminded daily (through his little life) of the way you loved others, your joy overflowing, the way you did things in your own unique way and honestly even your body type!
I love you!
God I pray that today and in the coming years that just as your word in Isaiah 61:3 says...
"that you will provide for us who grieve-
that you would bestow on us a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
I pray that we will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of His splendor."
"Even the saddest things can become, once we have made peace with them, a source of wisdom and strength for the journey that still lies ahead."

our butterfly that emerged from his chrysalis yesterday...we released it today...
another sweet reminder of Kelsey at just the perfect time!

Oh...
to be a kid again...
"Nonny, what would you do if you had $6000?"
As I begin to contemplate the best way to spend the money Micaiah says...
"I know what I would do. I would buy a life time supply of milkshakes and freezers to put them in!"

The ironic thing is...when I shared this story with Wes, he thought it was a good idea too!
