Bella the Cream Golden...
First, let me say that I've been the holdout for many, many years (Micaiah would say 11, although I'm not quite sure we were even discussing it then). It increasingly became a topic that we discussed and discussed and discussed but never reached a final decision. Then one day Wes said "I wonder if you ever really feel ready...or if you just jump in and take the plunge?"
Not too long after that night, our neighbors shared a picture of a recent litter of golden retriever puppies from Bickel Goldens and we felt the walls begin to crumble. We picked Bella out at 5 weeks old and then waited a long 21 days for her to turn 8 weeks so we could pick her up.
We brought her home on Tuesday. Here is a glimpse into her homecoming...
I don't believe there are many coincidences in life. The fact that we picked Bella up very close to the one year anniversary of my Grandmother's passing made me stop and smile as I remembered a portion of a beautiful, heartfelt note the she wrote to Micaiah on the day of his birth. I will share the section she titled "My Dreams for You" and leave the rest for Micaiah...

Pennsylvania Vacation Part 2...
The hotel in Lancaster was a fun place to stay...and everything is always more fun with your cousins...
Sophia and Eli put on a jump show while Gus and Micaiah raced the length of the pool...and anyone who knows Joshua knows that he spends the majority of his time swimming under the water (so I didn't get any pictures of him:(
Pennsylvania Vacation Part 1...
We spent a few days in Pennsylvania with Grandma, Pap, Uncle Brian, Aunt Lori and Gus and Sophia. We went on a different adventure each day.
The first day was Hershey Park. Will was finally tall enough to ride his first "big" roller coaster...the Trailblazer.
One day we took a ride on the Strasburg Railroad...
