Camping Fun...

When we sold our place at the lake we said we would go camping more often...well the years have gone by and we finally went on our first camping trip as a family.  We had a blast.  I pray we carve out time to go more often.

Summer nights...

How the boys have been sleeping in the attic. There are currently 3 single beds in this room not being used because they want one big bed on the floor. I love it...makes me realize they really do like one another😉 #theydontfightwhentheysleep, #macefamilysummer

Happy Birthday Joshua...

We've been celebrating Joshua's birthday for days:)  Here are some highlights...

 Friends...

 This picture makes me laugh every time...

 One of his friends got him a pack of fireworks as part of his birthday present...Daddy set them off while the boys watched from the back of Pap's truck.

 In true Joshua fashion...he directed us as we sang him "Happy Birthday." 

Happy Birthday Wes...

  We took a trip to Luray Caverns for Wes' birthday. Pictures won't even touch the beauty of this place.  Here are two of the reflecting pools...

 Then we decided to drive back Skyline Drive on our way home.  

It was fascinating to see both the depths and the heights of the earth in such a short span of time.  It gave new meaning to the scripture below that talks about God's love reaching both places.

Ephesians 3:14-19 The Message

^14-19 My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. 

I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. 

And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. 

Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.
