Week 39:52 {Hope}...

I posted this picture on Instagram last evening for My_365 project.  The theme was "me."

"Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a frat house but I'm thankful for these boys!"

I pray that they know the truth of this scripture

Youngblood Family...

I had so much fun with this family! Even though the weather was cloudy we made the most of it. Jennifer did such an incredible jobs pulling their outfits together which helped add some rich colors to the session.

A Video to Cheer Up a Friend...

The boys made a video to cheer up their buddy Lucas the other day...

 

2 Hour Hike...

 The boys were off school today and my dad was in so we decided to take a hike to the reservoir to fish.  

There are a lot of options from our house but Eli remembered a spot that we had been not too long ago.  I recommended that we take a certain path (thinking it would be shorter).  It wasn't!  So the boys endured a very rigorous hour long hike to the water only to get there and realize that the water was so low the fishing wasn't good.  Double whammy.  I promised ice cream and extra screen time if they could make it back to the car.  

Thankfully we did find a shorter path on the way back.  We got milkshakes and ice cream and everyone stared at a screen for an hour or so when we got home.  Hopefully they'll remember the ice cream:)

Kieffer Family...

The Kieffer's recently finalized the adoption of two of their beautiful children.  Their friends gave them a gift of a family portrait session.  We had a lot of fun exploring Jerusalem Mills and capturing pictures along the way.

13!!!

I really can't believe that our oldest turned 13.  Wow, time flies when you're having fun!

Our neighbor made him a beautiful soccer cake.

 He received a present that he was a little excited about:)

 and he played some soccer...

 As I posted on my Instagram feed...
