I've been captivated by the fall color of the dogwood tree in our yard. I've tried multiple times to capture it and haven't been happy with the result. Here is an example of one of the pictures that I took while my brother was visiting. It shows the color nicely but the shot is poorly composed. I still looked at this and thought it didn't truly capture it's beauty.
This morning while I was walking Bella I noticed that overnight we had our first frost. I went back out with my camera to attempt to capture the frost on the leaves and grass blades...unfortunately, the sun had peeked out enough to change the frost to droplets...
...but it had also risen enough to highlight the colors of the dogwood beautifully...
