...even though he told the doctor that he's a "brick wall" (when he plays basketball)...that didn't prevent him from tripping and falling on his elbow.
This boy never complains of pain so when he came to me this morning and said,
"Mom, that ice pack didn't help at all!"
I
knew I needed to make an orthopedic appointment a necessity. The only
problem was that his older brother had an appointment to have his braces
put on in the morning and his youngest brother had an appointment to
get his stitches out in the afternoon (yes, he and the dog were playing
chase and he tried to use the window to stop himself...it didn't work
too well).
I
figured I'd try to see the hand specialist in the middle of the two
scheduled appointments. When the hand specialist wanted to send Josh
for an x-ray I said...
"The only problem is that his brother has an appointment in 45 min to get his stitches out."
He replied..."Oh, I can do that for you."
Thank you kind ortho doctor...I'm sure we'll keep you in business for a while.
