Wes' dad recently underwent open heart surgery. We made the most of a quick trip to the Steel City. Wes was able to spend some time at the hospital with his dad both days while I took the boys on different excursions.
We rode the Duquesne Incline at night and witnessed a beautiful view of the city then ate dinner at the Jerome Bettis Grill. The next morning we visited Point State Park and William saw a double decker train! He was so excited he exclaimed "I thought it was a dream, but it's real!"
The Carnegie Science Center was a great spot to take the boys while Wes visited the hospital. They loved the Robots Omnimax and the exhibit of Robots. Their favorite part was the HighMark SportsWorks with the You-Yo
Become a human yo-yo on this 25-foot-high arch with a three-foot flywheel mounted at the top. Whisk yourself high in the air and soar with the help of kinetic energy.
I included a video of Micaiah on the You-Yo at the bottom of this post.
